Royal Rumble 2022 is 40 days away. The pay-per-view is all set to take place at The Dome in St. Louis on January 29. Thousands of fans are expected to be in attendance for the grand event, which will likely end with the traditional 30-man Royal Rumble match.
Like the past few years, Royal Rumble 2022 will feature two 30-person matches. The first will be the women’s match and the second will be the men’s match. 30 Superstars each will participate in a countdown battle royal, where a Superstar can be eliminated when his or her feet touch the floor. They need to be sent out from over the top rope for the elimination to be considered valid.
Every year before the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, fans always have one question in their mind, and that is who will win the Royal Rumble 2022 match. The same is the case this time in 2022, and here are some names who could stand tall when all is said and done at The Dome.
Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre are top candidates to win Royal Rumble 2022
On the men’s side, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre seem the top contenders. The match between Roman and Brock on Day 1 will decide which Superstar wins the Royal Rumble. As per reports, WWE has planned the WrestleMania 38 main event to be a battle between Brock and Roman. So, whoever loses the match on Day 1 should ideally win the Rumble.
Or else, WWE could book Drew McIntyre to win the Rumble and go head-to-head with Roman and Brock in a Triple Threat Match for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38. McIntyre is currently in a storyline against the higher powers of the company. So, he could defy the odds and stand tall at the Rumble.
From the RAW brand, there is no major favorite, but fans would love to see the likes of Randy Orton, Riddle or Finn Balor win the mega match. Fans should also consider the fact that The Brahma Bull The Rock could make his grand return to WWE at the Rumble and win the whole match to set up a match against Reigns.
