The 2021 Money in the Bank pay-per-view is just a month away. As always, excitement for this show is very high. The fans are looking forward to it. Many fans will be in attendance. Last year, the MITB show happened without any fans.
There was a unique concept for those two matches. The Superstars had to climb a corporate ladder to win the contract. Both men and women competed in the same match. However, it may not happen this year. Mostly, there will be a traditional match. The participants are not out yet, but the following five male Superstars may win the match.
1. Finn Balor
Finn Balor is in NXT right now. He lost his NXT title to Karrion Kross. The Irishman also lost his rematch. He is possibly heading to the main roster now. Balor is an extremely talented wrestler.
He can deliver top-quality matches. Balor will most likely participate in the MITB ladder match. He is a fan-favorite star. So, WWE may not mind pushing him. He can be the Mr. Money in the Bank 2021.
2. Wildcard pick for Mr. MITB 2021: Damian Priest
Damian Priest is a new Superstar. He was in NXT before. Right now, he is on Monday night RAW. Priest picked up a big win at WrestleMania. He teamed up with Bad Bunny to defeat The Miz and Morrison.
After that, he had a Zombies lumberjack match. WWE is giving a lot of attention. So, another way of pushing him can be to give him the MITB briefcase. He is a worthy superstar and can elevate himself to the next level by winning the ladder match.
3. Jinder Mahal
Jinder Mahal could be the unlikely pick. He is a heel superstar. Recently, he made his comeback. Mahal had appeared on the Superstar Spectacle. He main-evented the show, where he teamed up with the Singh Brothers.
Mahal deserves a slow push. Last time, WWE seemingly rushed his world title push a bit. This time, they can build him up slowly. Perhaps, they can book him to win a few matches and earning his place in the MITB match. Then, he can shock the world again by capturing the Money in the Bank briefcase.
4. Surprise pick for MITB: Keith Lee
Keith Lee has been away from WWE for quite some time. Some fans feared if he is no longer with the company. But those talks were baseless. Lee is still with WWE. He can make his return when the fans come back.
Lee proved himself in NXT. He won the NXT title as well as the North American title. On the main roster, he defeated a veteran like Randy Orton. Keith’s MITB win could be a pleasant surprise for the fans. Since it will be the first PPV after fans’ full-time return, WWE may want to end the show with a face superstar winning the Money in the Bank.
5. Seth Rollins
Many believe that Seth Rollins is the favorite to win the MITB. He is one of the most popular Superstars. Fans are waiting for his rivalry with Roman Reigns. The Money in the Bank ladder match could be the perfect way to begin the much-awaited rivalry.
Rollins can capture the briefcase and keep teasing. Everyone knows the past between Roman and Seth. They have created magic whenever they step inside the squared circle. So, the fans should expect Rollins to be a top contender for Mr. MITB 2021.
