Here Is The Reason Why Dolph Ziggler Attacked Theory On WWE RAW

The most recent episode of WWE RAW had a shocking end. Fans witnessed a tag team match in the main event, where the duo of WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley and Riddle took on the pairing of Mr. Money in the Bank Theory and Seth “Freakin” Rollins. As expected, the bout was an entertaining one, which saw the pair of Lashley and Riddle emerge victorious. However, the man who grabbed the headlines was Dolph Ziggler.

Former 14-time champion Dolph Ziggler made a surprise return to the Red brand this week as a babyface. For the last few years, he had been portraying a heel character as a part of the Dirty Dawgs tag team with Robert Roode. The duo even captured the tag team titles during their time together.

However, it looks like WWE is looking to push Ziggler as a singles star again. Earlier this year, he won his first-ever WWE NXT Championship, and today, he made a shocking entrance midway during the tag team match between Lashley and Riddle vs. Rollins and Theory.

Ziggler targeted Theory during the match and saved the pair of Lashley and Riddle from a cheeky pinfall defeat. After the match ended, Ziggler executed a superkick on Theory to end the show.

Dave Meltzer explains why Dolph Ziggler attacked Theory

During the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer, veteran journalist Dave Meltzer explained the probable reason behind Ziggler attacking Theory on WWE RAW and said:

“Ziggler and Theory are going to have a feud, with the idea that Theory can benefit from a 20-year veteran type of guy, a very good worker. So Ziggler’s a babyface, they just did it at the house shows. They just want him running around with Theory at shows every night for a couple of nights a week every week.”
