Did Ronda Rousey Quit WWE?

Ronda Rousey will reportedly quit WWE later this year. The Baddest Woman on the Planet will have the last match of her WWE career soon. The likely stage for her final match inside the squared circle is SummerSlam, where she will lose against Shayna Baszler, pass the baton and leave the company.

The rumor mill was abuzz with the claim that Ronda Rousey will quit WWE after a feud with Shayna Baszler. She even had the desire to hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with her close friend Shayna. WWE not only gave them a run as champions but also allowed them to unify the tag team belts of NXT and the main roster.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reviewed Money in the Bank and said Ronda Rousey has a ‘hard out’ in her contract. She will leave WWE before WrestleMania 40 next year.

“She gave a date. This is my last date. I remember talking to somebody there, and it was like, well, I know they are going to do this and make the big match for WrestleMania. No, it’s like, her hard out is, they didn’t give me the date, but it’s long before WrestleMania,” Meltzer reported.

Here is the reason why Ronda Rousey will quit WWE soon

Rousey has achieved enormous success in her brief WWE career so far. She generated a lot of buzz by helping The Rock overcome Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 31. Three years later, she debuted at Royal Rumble and soon became a WWE Superstar.

While Rousey was a special attraction and a main event level player in the beginning, her 2022/23 return was not up to the mark. She had some forgettable matches. Perhaps, her biggest regret will be not having a one-on-one match with Becky Lynch which got canceled at 2019 Survivor Series because of Nia Jax’s botch.
