The rumor mill has been abuzz with the rumor that Brock Lesnar walked out of last night’s SmackDown episode after coming to know that Vince McMahon retired. Lesnar has been one of the most loyal employees of McMahon, and whenever Vince needed him, he was just a phone call away. So, did Brock Lesnar quit WWE today?

At the upcoming WWE SummerSlam premium live event, the original plan was to have a match between Randy Orton and Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. However, Orton got injured and was ruled out of SummerSlam.

Brock Lesnar made a surprise return to SmackDown and set up a match against Roman Reigns for SummerSlam. Things were going as per the plan, but earlier today, a report emerged that Lesnar walked out of SmackDown.

Brock Lesnar did show up on SmackDown despite hinting to quit WWE today

Since he reportedly did walk away from SmackDown, some fans assumed that Brock Lesnar will not show up at TD Garden and quit WWE. Rumors even claimed that WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg would take Lesnar’s place at SummerSlam.

Lesnar put a full stop to all the rumors as he showed up in the final segment of SmackDown and attacked Theory with the WWE Money in the Bank briefcase.

Brock Lesnar is very much a part of WWE in 2022. In fact, he will fight Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at this year’s SummerSlam show.

Considering that the match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar is being billed as Last Time Ever, some fans might think that Lesnar may leave WWE soon.
