Chris Jericho Picks His Mount Rushmore Of Wrestling, Leaves Out The Undertaker

Chris Jericho has proven himself to be one of the greatest innovators in the world of Sports Entertainment, known for his exceptional in-ring acumen, ability to evolve his persona at different stages of his career and battle almost every top talent in the business of different generations.

From The Undertaker, Ricky Steamboat, Shawn Michaels, Triple H to rising stars of today’s crop like Sammy Gueverra, Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston, Jericho has stayed relevant and is going strong in the business for the last 30 years.

Jericho has been a part of every significant promotion such as WWE, WCW, ECW, independent circuit and his current homeland of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) regarded as one of the driving forces behind the success of the upstart promotion.

Apart from his excellence in the wrestling world, Chris Jericho was able to carve out a niche in the music industry with his rock band ‘Fozzy’ producing some of the most excellent pieces ever seen, including his current theme song ‘Judas’ used in AEW.

Which WWE Superstars feature on the Mount Rushmore of Chris Jericho?

The former AEW World Champion most recently revealed his four picks for his own custom-made famous wrestling Mount Rushmore. All these four WWE Superstars have been major inspirations for Jericho and their contributions to the business played a major role in developing Jericho’s love for the business.  His Mount Rushmore included the Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart, Rick ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat,and Hulk Hogan.

He revealed the reason to pick the above-mentioned Legendary Superstars in particular for his mecca of Wrestling during an interview with Superstar Crossover:

“Those are my four favorites when I was growing up so those are the people, I have on Mount Rushmore to this day.”

Jericho did leave out WWE Legend, The Undertaker from the Mountain Rushmore, which came as a surprise considering The Deadman’s storied career, his intense matches with Jericho, and being considered as one of the greatest WWE Superstars of All Time.

The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla has battled three of his choices inside the squared circle but unfortunately wasn’t able to lock horns with his fellow Canadian, The Legendary late great Owen Hart.
