WWE Writer Seemingly Does Not Want CM Punk Back In Company

The wrestling world went berserk when AEW announced the termination of CM Punk’s contract. Well, the most obvious question is the former straightedge superstar would return to WWE or not? The anticipations are building and this may also be right time to bring someone in the form of CM Punk that can make a blockbuster storyline.

However, with all said and done, the kind of history that WWE has with CM Punk and now the wrestling fans raising all sorts of questions against the Second City Saint, WWE may just and just be hesitant in heading down the same road that once brought a boatload of controversies down their front gates.

There are fans who wants Punk back in the industry while there are fans who believe that Punk won’t exactly be an amazing addition to the industry given his past records. In fact when CM Punk was asked about his return to WWE, Brooks very clearly mentioned that Triple H and McMahon always had his number. He is still waiting an apology.

Here is what happened between Rob Lee and Twitter talking about the return of CM Punk

Well, in the latest developments, the director of long-term creative for WWE, Rob Fee, who is an icon in the world of comics, known for writing some renowned stories in the past, that included the likes of the Avengers and Spider Man didn’t want CM Punk onboard.

When asked on Twitter that should Punk return again, an user tweeted ‘No’ and Rob liked the tweet, that clearly indicates the fact that the writer still has a beef with Punk and someone of his stature would only return for longer stints and longer storylines that makes it obvious that Lee will be coming in the frame which possibly he doesn’t want to considering what Punk has done in the past.

Let’s just hope a middle ground can be found where Punk’s return can be negotiated and WWE finds a way to bury the past.
