Maxxine Dupri had a challenging outing of late but the kind of love that the other wrestlers poured on her, that was simply overwhelming. This act also shows how good of a bond the stars share between them and that is simply the best sign for business.
Dupri was heading back to the locker room after her match and the kind of comments, jeers and catcalls that she had to brave, it was just shocking. For any superstar, it would leave them rattled and completely broken. This is where the support of your fellow wrestlers and managers come in handy.
In the live event that was televised on 17th of February at Oakland Arena, Carolina, Maxxine was pitted against the mighty Nia Jax. Hailing all the way from a cheerleading and dancing background, WWE signed Dupri as she made her in-ring debut with Chad Gable and Otis to take on the mighty Viking Raiders and Valhalla.
Ever since setting foot in the ring, she has so far fought a total of 13 matches out of which 9 were shown for the audience on the big screens. With such a paltry number under your belt, it always remains a question whether you are ready for all the battle and the fight that is coming your way. Particularly, in front of a live crowd, it needs a lot more than just your wrestling flair.
A fan sympathised with her on X stating that she was being booed by the live audience only because she was trying to do something innovative and getting better at her work.
Here is what the fellow wrestlers had to say about Maxxine Dupri
Rhea Ripley said that possibly the fans understood what it feels to get ridiculed in the public eye while being new at work. She even urged the fans to be more humane.
Becky Lynch pointed out another tweet of hers stating that she would go for Dupri on any given day as her tag team partner.
Raquel Rodriguez took to X with three heart signs. Britt Baker retweeted Rhea Ripley’s tweet expressing support for Maxxine. Ivy Nile also echoed the sentiments stating that Maxxine was just trying to get better and this was the kind of support that she got from the fans.
Bronson Reed also supported Maxxine stating that she just tried to show how good she is and if that bothers the fans, that is heartbreaking.
