WWE Survivor Series 2022 Predictions: Will Cody Rhodes Return On The PPV?

Cody Rhodes has been out of action for quite some time because of an injury. The American Nightmare wrestled his last match inside Hell in a Cell at the namesake premium live event against former WWE Universal Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins. Although Rhodes was hurt, he decided to wrestle that night and ended up defeating Rollins.

On the next episode of RAW, Rollins attempted to end things with Rhodes on a good note with a handshake. It looked like the rivalry between the two Superstars had ended, but it took a new twist as Rollins attacked Rhodes and wrote him off TV.

It is likely that Rhodes will go after Rollins when he returns to WWE, but the question is when will Cody Rhodes return to WWE?

There should be multiple surprises on the show, but it is highly unlikely that Rhodes will make his return. The reason behind it his injury is severe, and WWE may not want to risk his fitness by booking him to return earlier than expected.

WWE could wait until 2023 Royal Rumble, where Cody Rhodes could make his much-awaited return. According to rumors, the backup plan for Roman Reigns vs. The Rock match at WrestleMania 39 is Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes. So, there is a chance that Rhodes ends up winning the 30-man match.

It will be interesting to see if Cody scores a victory in the Royal Rumble match. However, the bottom-line is that the American Nightmare will return to WWE at Survivor Series 2022.
