Veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter indirectly hinted that Asuka should retain the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam. During an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s UnSKripted show, Apter said that he wants to see Charlotte Flair battle Bianca Belair in a non-title match at WrestleMania 40, thereby subtly saying that he wants Asuka to retain the belt at SummerSlam.
“I think Charlotte’s a staple there. I think she needs to go ahead and put Bianca Belair over; I think it should be a non-title match at WrestleMania 40 next year,” said Apter.

It would be harsh from WWE’s side if they take the belt away from Asuka so soon. Charlotte or Bianca can cost themselves the match and go on to have a non-title feud on SmackDown.
