Veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter indirectly hinted that Asuka should retain the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam. During an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s UnSKripted 

“I think Charlotte’s a staple there. I think she needs to go ahead and put Bianca Belair over; I think it should be a non-title match at WrestleMania 40 next year,” said Apter.
