WWE SummerSlam 2023 Match Card: 3 Matches That Should Have Happened On The Show

As we gear up for WWE SummerSlam 2023, the excitement has been through the roofs and expect it to keep on building with every passing moment. But then somewhat more could have been added only if the number of matches have been over as the expectations keep on climbing. A few matches could have happened wherein another was pulled off in the dying embers.

Here is the list of matches that could have been added and would have done a world of good to the PPV, particularly keeping in mind that it involved the Man. However, now that it’s not happening, here is a list of three matches that could have been added.

#1 Trish Stratus vs Becky Lynch

Just ahead of the PPV, Adam Pearce was seen interfering in the two wrestlers just for the storyline to be incorporated but at the end of the day, it was seen that WWE would not be having the contest because of time restraints on the PPV. However, had this fight been fought on a PPV then it would have surely been intriguing, considering that these two now kind of dominate the women’s division.

#2 Austin Theory vs Santos Escobar

Austin Theory has been a dominant force and so has been Santos Escobar as the two can rule the roost with a fierce battle and the WWE Universe is willing to pay for them a much higher stake. Theory’s battles have been a lot more physical while Santos Escobar is now slowly getting in the groove and both makes a strong stand for any PPV.

#3 Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez

Rhea Ripley has been the driving force for WWE Divas while Raquel Rodriguez has been challenging her constantly. Though the latter hasn’t really got herself the required momentum yet, the two cooks an amazing wrestling broth and is probably the best fit for business. The match between the two would have made all the right sounds.
