The Colossal Bronson Reed may be on his way back to WWE more than a year after his release. According to Andrew Zarian of We’re Live Pal, Triple H, who is the head of Creative now, is bringing the Australian superstar back to WWE.
NXT has always been the Cerebral assassinโs baby and in the past few weeks, weโve already seen him bring back released NXT wrestlers like Karrion Kross, Hit Row, Dakota Kai, IO SKY, Dexter Lumis and the latest return being Johnny Gargano, who returned to a huge pop from the Toronto crowd on RAW.
If the insiders are to be believed, the next in line for a return is Reed aka Jonah now. The Aussie has size, speed, a great entrance and is a former NXT North American champion. He has been making a name for himself at Impact! and New Japan Pro Wrestling promotions as Jonah for a year now since his release.

โIโve heard one name over the last few weeks, and thatโs Jonah. I can tell you there are people very interested in him because of his talent, his performance in the G1.โ

His brilliant performance at the G1 Climax 32 tournament of NJPW where he defeated the eventual winner, Kazuchika Okada, was noteworthy. Also, the Australian has a resume full of international experience with Australian, British and German promotions. Reportedly, his name has come up during creative meetings.
Who is Bronson Reed? All you need to know about the former WWE NXT North American Champion
A Bronson Reed WWE return is something Iโd love to see.
I think him on a main roster directed by Triple H would have so many great match ups. pic.twitter.com/QNNJCGn8rI

A surprisingly agile big man who was booked dominantly at NXT and was bulldozing through his opponents, his release came as a total surprise in August 2021. Maybe it was because of the chairman, Vince McMahon, who took over NXT last year and is well known for his inclination a specific type of Superstar he wants.
However, since his retirement from WWE and The Game taking over WWE Creative department, a lot of former NXT Superstars like Gargano and Top Dolla have made their way back into the main roster, which is good news for Reed/Jonah because he can now have many opponents of his size and stature to choose from and have dream matches with, provided he comes back.
