WWE Royal Rumble 2023 Predictions: 5 Superstars Who Could Be The 1st Entrant

WWE Royal Rumble 2023 Predictions are in full swing as we are close to a month away from the next premium live event of the company. The Royal Rumble show will feature the two annual Royal Rumble matches, one for the men and one for the women.

Last year, Brock Lesnar won the 30-man match, while Ronda Rousey emerged victorious in the women’s division. Both matches featured some big names. Many fans feel that the toughest number to enter the Rumble match is #1 because then the Superstar will have to survive the entire match and eliminate others to win the match.

In the entire history of this grand match, only three men have been able to win it from the number one position – Shawn Michaels in 1995, Chris Benoit in 2004 and Edge in 2021. It will be interesting to see if any Superstar can join the elite company in 2023. Here are our WWE Royal Rumble 2023 predictions for the number one entrant.

1. WWE Royal Rumble 2023 predictions – Will AJ Styles enter 1st?

AJ Styles was the first entrant in the 2022 Royal Rumble match. He started off the proceedings with Shinsuke Nakamura. With The O.C. picking up a fight with The Bloodline this week, it should not be a surprise if Styles starts the match, and a Bloodline member enters 2nd.

2. WWE Royal Rumble 2023 predictions – Will Brock Lesnar enter 1st?

Brock Lesnar elevated Drew McIntyre to the next level in 2020 by entering the Royal Rumble first, eliminating a host of Superstars and then being eliminated by McIntyre. The Beast could elevate someone like Gunther to a whole new level in 2023 by repeating the same show.

3. Kofi Kingston

Kofi Kingston has never won a Royal Rumble match, but fans will always remember him for his creativity in the 30-man match. Kingston was the first to announce his entry into this year’s Rumble match. Perhaps, he could also be the first to enter.

4. Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio seems to have lost his relevance in recent times. He is incredibly popular with the fans, but WWE’s booking has made him look weaker of late. A strong showing at the Rumble after entering first could help Rey revive his character.

5. Sheamus

Sheamus has been the ultimate workhorse of WWE in the last two years. WWE can bank on him to be the Iron Man of this year’s Rumble by entering first.
