WWE Payback will feature a marquee match from the women’s division. The biggest women’s rivalry of the year will come to an end as Becky Lynch will square off against Trish Stratus in a steel cage match on September 2 at the PPG Paints Arena. The only question in the minds of the fans is who will win the Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus match.

Lynch and Stratus’ rivalry began on the fallout episodes of WrestleMania 39 back in April, when they teamed up to defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships, originally held by Becky and Lita, against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Liv and Raquel shockingly won the match, leading to Trish’s heel turn on Becky.

After the betrayal, the two female stars squared off in a match at Night of Champions, where Zoey Stark helped Stratus record a win against Becky. Since then, the rivalry has become a main thing on RAW. Many fans expected this feud to culminate at SummerSlam, but the creative team decided to push the match back to Payback.

In case you didn’t notice, Trish Stratus agreed for a match against Becky Lynch, only if she would have a tattoo on her chest, which read ‘Thank You Trish’ if The Man lost. The two female stars battled in a match on RAW recently, but it ended in a double count out. Hence, a steel cage match was announced for Payback.
