WWE NXT Great American Bash match card has been finalized. The 2023 edition of WWE NXT GAB will take place on July 30 at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Texas. It is the first edition of GAB which will air live on both Peacock and WWE Network.
The Great American Bash is one of the oldest premium live events in WWE history. This show first happened in the year 1985. Originally, it was a part of the National Wrestling Alliance’s Jim Crockett Promotions. In 1988, it became a part of WCW, and after WWE purchased WCW in 2001, the company revived it in 2004 as an annual pay-per-view event.
WWE disbanded the event in 2009. In 2012, Great American Bash was a special theme of SmackDown, but it proved to be a one-off only. Finally, in 2020, WWE revived it again as a NXT premium live event.
This year, seven matches will happen on the WWE NXT Great American Bash match card. The main event of the show is a singles match between Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship. Gable Steveson will take on former United States Champion Baron Corbin, while the match card also features a Weapons Wild match between Roxanne Perez and Blair Devenport.

Apart from the three matches mentioned above, the show will also feature an eight-person mixed tag team match, a triple threat match for the NXT North American Championship, a submission match for the NXT Women’s Championship and a tag team title match. Here is the full list of matches:

- ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Wes Lee vs. Mustafa Ali, Triple Threat match for NXT North American Championship.
- Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov, WWE NXT Championship.
- Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Thea Hail, WWE NXT Women’s Championship Submission Match.
- Gallus vs. The Family, WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match.
- Roxanne Perez vs. Blair Davenport, Weapons Wild Match.
- Gable Steveson vs. Baron Corbin.
