Zelina Vega is not among the favorites to win the WWE Women’s Money in the Bank 2023 ladder match. The SmackDown Superstar has qualified for the big match in London, but she will face tough competition from Bayley, IYO Sky, Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark in the ladder match.
While Zelina Vega may lose against multiple Superstars in this match if she meets them one-on-one, the one thing which will work in her favor at MITB is that it is a ladder match, and if she is smart enough to time her climb to the top to perfection, she will win the contract.

Anyone who follows Zelina on social media knows that she is among the hardest workers in the company. Be it sweating out hours at the gym or making several media appearances for WWE, Zelina does it all without any complaints.
For the longest time, she had been used only as a manager in her WWE career. She has impressed the fans with her wrestling skills this year, and WWE can reward her by giving her the MITB contract.
2. Makes LWO a credible faction
Zelina is a member of the LWO faction on SmackDown. Although the legendary Rey Mysterio has joined the faction, fans do not take it so seriously because the group has no titles. Perhaps, Zelina winning MITB could elevate LWO like how Rhea Ripley’s rise took The Judgment Day to a whole new level.

In case you didn’t know, Xero News has reported that WWE wants to make history with the women’s MITB match this year. They want to break the women’s streak of successful cash-ins. So, the winner of this year’s women’s Money in the Bank ladder match will likely have a failed cash-in.
When one looks at the list of competitors in this match, Zelina seems like the safest option. Fans would believe it in case she has an unsuccessful cash-in over Rhea Ripley or Asuka.
