According to a report by Ringside News, there was a suggestion backstage in WWE to turn Roman Reigns babyface. This rumor initially came to notice around WWE Clash at the Castle 2022, when Xero News reported that the Tribal Chief gimmick would take a backseat soon after Drew McIntyre dethrones Roman.
However, Roman retained the titles at Clash at the Castle and continues to be the Tribal Chief. Ringside News has reported that Roman and Paul Heyman have rejected the idea of a babyface turn in the near future.

Paul Davis of WrestlingNewsCo has reported that there are no plans at the moment for Roman Reigns to drop his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship in the near future.
The report claims that Reigns will remain the champion till next year. Also, he is likely to walk into WrestleMania 39 with both the belts.
Paul Heyman features on today’s WWE Extreme Rules 2022 rumor roundup
The Tribal Chief’s special counsel Paul Heyman has been missing from WWE TV after the SummerSlam show. He was written off TV after Brock Lesnar hit him with an F5 on the premium live event.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Heyman is still present backstage for the shows, but WWE is waiting for the right time to book his return.
“Heyman is still at all the SmackDowns and major events but is not going to appear on camera until they probably give him a dynamic return,” the report stated.
