6-time World Champion Booker T went on record to give his WWE Extreme Rules 2022 predictions for one of the highly anticipated matches set to take place at WWE’s next premium live event, Extreme Rules this Saturday.
The match card featuring some of the most exciting matches with physically grueling stipulations for each bout had the former King Booker pick some exciting picks for the winners. However, in one of those, he claims that a 4-time World Champion will lose in his scheduled match.
Booker was referring to none other than the Drip God himself, Seth Rollins, who is set to collide with The Original Bro Matt Riddle inside the dangerous Fight Pit officiated by UFC Legend Daniel Cormier. There has been only one Fight pit match in the past featuring Riddle battling Timothy Thatcher with WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle acting as the Special Guest Referee back in 2020 in WWE NXT.
Matt and Seth have been feuding over the past few months, with their first match supposed to take place at WWE SummerSlam, however, the match did not take place due to Riddle suffering an injury at the hands of the former Architect. The Bro made his way back a few weeks later and the duo looked to settle their differences at WWE Clash at the Castle. Rollins prevailed over Riddle that night, but that didn’t seem the end of this rivalry as they are on a collision course inside the tormenting cage known as the Fight Pit.

Booker T gives his WWE Extreme Rules 2022 predictions on why Riddle will win
Looking at Riddle’s past experience inside the structure giving the former United States Champion some edge over Rollins, Booker T predicted that Riddle would secure the victory over Seth Rollins at the event in an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Bill Apter:
“Riddle’s more in his comfort zone in a match like this. Anything can happen, but I’m going to go with Riddle.”
This will be the second time Matt Riddle will battle Seth Rollins in a one-on-one match but under extreme conditions that are meant to cause pain and brutality, doing justice to the event title.
