The end of the line has almost arrived for WWE’s premium live event Extreme Rules. Furthermore, it is being regarded as one of the most must-watch editions in the pay-per-view’s history. UFC Legend Daniel Cormier will serve as the special guest referee for the Matt Riddle vs Seth Rollins Fight Pit match. This could set the perfect stage for Cormier to confront a ghost of his past. Daniel could find him in the presence of the returning Brock Lesnar at the end of the match.
They even had a heated confrontation inside the octagon in July 2018 at UFC 226. So, this could set up the stage for Lesnar vs Cormier at WWE’s next premium live event, WWE Crown Jewel.
2. Shayna Baszler sides with Ronda Rousey’s rival
It is no secret that Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler have been longtime allies and former MMA sparring partners. Moreover, the Rowdy One even offered Baszler to join forces to lay dominance over the entire WWE. But Extreme Rules could see a major shocker seeing the Submission Magician turn on her former MMA cohort.
The ending of the match could see Shayna aligning with Ronda’s rival, Liv Morgan, and laying a combined beatdown on Rousey. This could give way to Morgan in retaining her title and getting a major backup moving forward.

The most extreme night of the year can become the all-gold night for the Damage CTRL faction. The stable leader Bayley is set to battle Bianca Belair in a Ladder match for the RAW Women’s title.
Her stablemates and current WWE Women’s Tag team champions Dakota Kai and IYO Sky could begin their master plan at the start of the event. Their first step could be taking out Belair’s potential allies Asuka and Alexa Bliss and having her fall to the numbers game.
With the odds stacked against her, IYO and Dakota can assist Bayley in taking out Bianca. This could give a clear path to the Role Model to ascend to the top of the ladder and win the championship.
4. The Bloodline implodes
Sami Zayn’s induction into the Bloodline has not been well received by Jey Uso. Therefore, tensions boiling could see a heated exchange between the stable mates.
Furthermore, this war of words could lead to an impromptu match between Jey and Sami taking place at Extreme Rules that would give them a legit chance to settle their differences.

The conspiracy surrounding the White Rabbit QR mystery could come to its conclusion at Extreme Rules.
After weeks of ominous riddles, speculations, and QR codes, the man behind the mystery is unmasked. The person heavily speculated to be behind this mystery is former WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt. A major shocker could see Wyatt reemerge back into the WWE indicating the return of the dark days.
