WWE is moving full steam ahead toward the most extreme pay-per-view of the year, WWE Extreme Rules taking place in the month of October for the first time in the history of the show and on a Saturday instead of WWE’s traditional way of hosting special attraction shows on Sunday. As always, the WWE Extreme Rules 2022 predictions are in full flow.
The first edition to be produced under the creative regime of WWE Chief Content Manager Triple H has been regarded as one of the look-forward editions of Extreme Rules. One of the reasons for that is a huge 6-man tag team match between the Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland & Butch) and The Imperium (WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther, Ludwig Kaisar & Giovanni Vinci) with the Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook stipulation under which the bout will be contested.
Here are our WWE Extreme Rules 2022 predictions for the possible finishes to the 6-Man tag team match at the show:

All three members of the dominant faction of The Imperium are looking to become legitimate stars on the main roster with the run so far.
While the young talented duo of Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaisar turn heads with their tag team performances and could potentially become Tag Team Champions in the future, Gunther has already established himself as a force to be reckoned with, bringing prestige back to the Intercontinental title with his reign. The faction could gain further momentum by picking up a clean win over their rivals under donnybrook rules to ascend to the next level.
2. Butch and Ridge Holland turn on Sheamus
Sheamus has been at the forefront of the faction, The Brawling Brutes leading his teammates Ridge Holland and Butch in a progressive direction and being credited for building future stars.
However, Holland and Butch could decide to go it on their own, wanting the spotlight for themselves by turning on Sheamus at the end of the match giving Imperium the win and the beginning of their run without the Celtic Warrior leading charge.

Before he was repackaged as Butch on the main roster, Pete Dunne was running through everyone in NXT and NXT UK with his mean streak and was regarded as The Bruiserweight, paying total justice to his nickname in his fighting style.
We have seen a lot of Superstars revert to their old successful gimmicks in this new era and Butch’s transformation into his older dominant self could begin at Extreme Rules, picking up the win for his team and starting a whole new journey and replicating the same success he had back in the developmental.
4. New member picks a side
The decisive conclusion to the brutal 6-man tag team Donnybrook match between the Brawling Brutes and The Imperium can come at the hands of a new NXT Superstar called up to the main roster such as Tyler Bate or JD McDonagh picking a side of their choice and helping them win the match signaling the start of their main roster run.
