WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 predictions: 4 possible endings to Damian Priest vs Drew McIntyre match

WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 predictions have started to flow. The company has been basking in the massive success of its recent PLEs in the Triple H era that began at WrestleMania 40 and etched successful shows like Backlash France and King and Queen of the Ring to its regime. Now, the company is set to present its next PLE titled, WWE Clash at the Castle taking place on June 15 at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.

The main event expected for the show will see World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest defend his title against Scotland’s own Drew McIntyre. This will be McIntyre’s opportunity to reclaim the championship he lost Priest’s Money in the Bank cash-in at WrestleMania 40, that too in front of his own people. Here are the 4 possible endings to this blockbuster match:

1. WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 predictions – Hometown victory

Drew McIntyre had a big victory moment at WrestleMania 40 when he defeated Seth Rollins to win the World Heavyweight Championship, only to have the title taken away from him in 5 minutes.

With his home fans by his side and learning from his past egotistcal mistake, McIntyre could score, perhaps the biggest win of his WWE career with a thunderous Claymore to Damian Priest and capture his 4th World Championship in his home country of Scotland.

2. WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 predictions – Judgment Day ruins the celebrations

Despite having the homefield advantage, there is very strong chance that Drew McIntyre could fall to the numbers game of Damian Priest’s Judgment members.

As they have done it in the past, the other members could run-in interference, despite Damian’s protests and cause one of the biggest upsets with McIntyre’s loss to Priest in Scotland.

3. CM Punk strikes again

Much like he did at WrestleMania 40, Drew McIntyre’s arch rival, CM Punk could strike again, this time in front of his home fans in Scotland.

During a pivotal moment in the match as McIntyre would possibly be closing on the win, Punk’s appearance could distract him long enough for Damian Priest to capitalize and score the win over Drew, much to the loud boos showered at The Best in the World.

4. Drew McIntyre uses underhanded tactics

The desperation to win in his home country of Scotland and the obsession to become World Champion could lead to Drew McIntyre resort to underhanded tactics in his match.

This could cement his full-fledged heel turn after signs of being a tweaner, and see him become the World Heavyweight Champion in Scotland with the use of questioned moves to gain the glory.
