The Man of the Hour, Lio Rush can be considered one of the brightest talents in the industry in possession of all the traits that make a top calibre Superstar; a chiselled physique exceptionally well on the microphone and great in-ring acumen. A world traveled athlete, Rush has wrestled for some of the major promotions around the world namely All Elite Wrestling, Ring of Honor and WWE. Fans are wondering if Lio Rush will make a WWE return in 2022?
Lio was released from the WWE back in 2020 as a part of the budget cuts with several other Superstars but went on to display impressive showings in any promotion he wrestled.
On Night Two of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s Battle of Los Angeles event on January 2, 2022, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion suffered a left dislocated shoulder injury during his match with Buddy Matthews. As the timetable for his recovery comes to a close, Rush seems to be ready to step back inside the squared circle, possibly hinting toward his next destination.

Lio Rush has teased a return and a reunion with Bobby Lashley in WWE
Rush posted several pictures of himself and Bobby Lashley from his stint back in 2018 as The Almighty’s hype man considered one of his most successful runs in the company. The beginning of Bobby Lashley’s second coming seemed lacklustre until The Man of the Hour arrived by his side and led Lashley to a much more successful run capturing the prestigious WWE Intercontinental Championship on two occasions.

The new creative regime of the WWE is currently led by WWE E.V.P Triple H, whose efforts are clearly on full display with the drastic improvement in their weekly product and the return of many former WWE Superstars that were released during Vince McMahon’s era of leadership.
The Hype Man could be the next addition to the list of potential WWE returns considering he has already added fuel to the speculations of his return to the wrestling giant by sharing his old pictures on social media. It would even be interesting to watch the current WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley pair up with his old hype man once again should he return, who can contribute significantly to Lashley’s ongoing impressive run in the WWE.
