WWE Clash at the Castle 2022 predictions: Will Roman Reigns Lose His Undisputed Universal Championship?

WrestleVotes has reported that Roman Reigns is probably losing his titles come Saturday in Cardiff at WWE Clash At The Castle. The WWE Creative department under Triple H is having meetings on various scenarios in which Roman can lose the match to Drew McIntyre.

The Tribal Chief has been the Universal champion for more than 700 days after winning the Universal title at Payback 2020. He has beaten practically every big name that came his way. The Head of the Table hasn’t even been pinned since 2019. He truly is the megastar of this era. He is as he says, “In God Mode”.

But Drew McIntyre is the top babyface of WWE and has been so for a while now. He is the protagonist to Roman’s antagonist. The Superhero to The Super villain. A sword wielding swashbuckling Highland warrior ready to slay the dragon. And as he returns to his home turf, his backyard, Cardiff, Wales, the WWE Universe would love nothing more than watching the Scottish Warrior pick up those Undisputed belts at the end of the show.

Here is the backstage update by WrestleVotes:

Will Roman Reigns lose only one title or two championships at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022?

Roman has had the championship belts for so long that fans are getting tired of him and want to welcome change now. Any shtick runs its course in due time. Therefore, if the reports are accurate, then WWE creative is going the right way by getting the belts off Reigns. Whether he loses one or both belts remains to be seen.

If someone interferes and helps Drew win it means, Roman will be the champion very soon again but if he loses clean, then Drew’s time has arrived. He was after all the champion who carried WWE on his strong shoulders while the world was on lockdown but never got to defend his title in front of a live crowd. He deserves that.
