WWE Clash At The Castle 2022 Predictions: 3 Superstars Who Could Take The Place Of Drew McIntyre Against Roman Reigns If He Is Ruled Out Due To Injury

As per Fightful, Drew McIntyre is having a back injury and he has been pulled from all live house shows this weekend. The exact injury status of McIntyre is still unknown ahead of WWE Clash at the Castle 2022.

It is a little scary news for WWE universe just before Clash at the Castle which is less than 3 weeks away because McIntyre is slated to face Roman Reigns in Cardiff, Wales for the Undisputed WWE championship.

The Scottish Warrior would wish that he does not lose his once in a lifetime opportunity because of injury nor will WWE wish because it would create a huge impact ahead of the PPV considering all the hype that was built for the match.

In case McIntyre misses out, here are 3 possible superstars who could take his place and battle against Roman Reigns.

1. Will Karrion Kross replace Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022?

Karrion Kross could be the most likely contender to challenge for the Undisputed Championship at Clash at the Castle due to his recent involvement in Drew McIntyre & Roman Reigns’ ongoing feud.

Karrion Kross was reportedly discussed to be included in the main event for Clash at the castle in a triple threat match. Unfortunately, if McIntyre fails to appear for the mega event Triple H will not hesitate to switch him with the former NXT Champion and give him the championship shot.

2. Will Bray Wyatt replace Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022?

Bray Wyatt is all set to return to the wrestling world after he was future endeavoured by WWE last year. With Vince’s retirement it is highly believed that the Eater of the Worlds will ink a WWE deal.

As Bray Wyatt is expected to return sooner rather than later, a private jet could be parked for him and could be booked to return as a mystery opponent for Roman Reigns if Drew McIntyre is ruled out. The Fiend’s championship bout was poorly handled under old management so it would be a nice compensation by giving Bray the dream run he deserved in his WWE career.

3. Goldberg

With Goldberg still under WWE contract he could be on the speed dial to return if last minute changes happen prior to Clash at the Castle main event.

WWE will need a big marquee name like Goldberg to fill the place of hometown hero McIntyre. Although this decision will garner a lot of heat from fans, WWE could give it a shot.
