The Head of the Table Roman Reigns has been unstoppable ever since he made his return at WWE Summerslam 2020 donning an entirely new persona. He started a new era in WWE with his special counsel Paul Heyman, winning the WWE Universal Championship the following weekend at WWE Payback, kickstarting one of the longest title reigns.
The Tribal Chief is set to battle the Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash at the Castle in the main event for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. It is believed by many fans and suggested by backstage reports that McIntyre would be The One to dethrone Reigns, however, should Drew fail in his quest to capture the Undisputed Championship from the Head of the Table,
Here are the Top 4 candidates who could seemingly end Roman Reigns’ title reign:
1. Cody Rhodes could take the titles from Roman Reigns

Ever since Cody Rhodes returned to the WWE at Wrestlemania 38, he made his intentions clear to win the world championship that his father, The American Dream Dusty Rhodes never held.
But his quest was sidetracked by the involvement of Seth Rollins and an unforeseen injury took him out of action for an extended period. The American Nightmare has the fire and desire to become champion and potentially be on top of the list to dethrone Roman Reigns.
2. Bobby Lashley
Imagine telling someone (me) that Brock Lesnar is the best available option for Roman Reigns at Summerslam when Bobby Lashley and AJ Styles exist on the “other brand”…

The Almighty Bobby Lashley, currently reigning as the United States Champion could go on to challenge Roman Reigns to a Champion vs Champion Winner Take All match.
Having defeated the likes of Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, and Reigns himself in the past, it could take one more spear and the hurt lock for Lashley to end one of the greatest title reigns in the history of the WWE.
3. Seth Rollins seems to have Roman Reigns’ number

The Visionary Seth Rollins has already claimed to have unfinished business with The Head of the Table Roman Reigns and has been known to outsmart Reigns on numerous occasions.
With their last encounter ending in a Disqualification win for Rollins at WWE Royal Rumble 2022, another rematch this time, a No Holds Barred match between the former Shield brothers could see Rollins exact the ultimate revenge by pinning Roman Reigns and win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The son of Rick Steiner has proved himself to be the fastest rising star in NXT 2.0 dominating the entire roster and becoming the youngest NXT Champion as well as the faster to do so.
He could cement his legacy and establish himself as a legitimate main event Superstar by pulling off one of the biggest upsets in WWE history defeating Roman Reigns and winning the World Championship, mirroring Brock Lesnar’s shocking victory over The Rock at WWE SummerSlam 2002 where a young upstart dethroned the Samoan Top Guy to begin his road to the top of the mountain.
