Bobby Fish has expressed his intention of making a comeback to WWE. Fish was a part of NXT’s Undisputed Era stable with Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly. But last year he was released from contract like many others as a part of budget cuts by the company.
Soon after, he got signed by AEW in August 2021, who were signing almost every released WWE talent at that time. Although fans had great hopes for him, being an indie circuit veteran, his booking in the new company was less than flattering. He did however have matches against top stars like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Sammy Guevara among others.
He had been missing from AEW episodes in recent weeks because his contract was coming to an end, and it was probably not renewed because the company did not see their future together with him. He had last appeared on Dynamite on August 3rd alongside his Undisputed Era buddies Cole and O’Reilly as the Undisputed Elite. Even they haven’t been seen since then.
Where is former AEW Superstar Bobby Fish now?
It’s being reported that he is a free agent now and in an interview with Steve Fall at NBC Sports Boston, he has made his feelings clear of wanting a WWE return.

He explained: “I don’t know. I’m open to all options and offers at the moment. I do know that there have been quite a few people who have gone back through those doors. I’m happy that it’s a good place to be again.”

If he does find his way back, NXT 2.0 would be a good place to start all over again. Maybe with a new gimmick? Or else, he could show up on RAW or SmackDown and compete in the tag team division or the singles division, starting a new phase in his career.
