Why Did Bron Breakker Not Move To RAW Or SmackDown In WWE Draft 2023?

WWE Universe expected Bron Breakker, the previous NXT Champion, to go to the main roster in the WWE Draft. He was a heavy favorite of the WWE Universe to move to RAW or SmackDown, but it did not happen.

Breakker debuted in 2021 and has constantly proven himself worthy of his position within the company. He became the NXT Champion at New Year’s Evil last year and held on to the title for almost an year. He finally lost the championship to Carmelo Hayes recently at Stand & Deliver.

The reason for RAW or SmackDown not picking him in the Draft could be his heel turn. Breakker turned heel on Hayes a couple of weeks ago and even speared him through the wall. They will probably have a match at NXT Battleground and if Bron was drafted, their match’s outcome would have become predictable.

Bron Breakker will challenge Carmelo Hayes for WWE NXT Championship

Hayes would have won as Breakker was not on NXT anymore and he would have to be on the main roster with a loss under his belt. It could also be possibile that WWE didn’t want to bring him in without letting him try to dethrone Carmelo.

There was a rumor that Bron was going to be backstage at SmackDown on the Draft’s first day. He was going to be there with his real-life partner and NXT superstar Cora Jade but he wasn’t. However, he has already made his main roster debut back in 2022. He had won his NXT Championship title back from Dolph Ziggler on the April 4th episode of RAW.

Bron Breakker is the son and nephew of WWE Hall of Famers Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner respectively. People are already calling him the company’s future and allegedly there are big plans for him. It is only a matter of time before he spears into the WWE locker-room.
