All Elite Wrestling is potentially going through its roughest week, starting with the conclusion of their pay-per-view AEW All Out. The event saw the crowning of Kenny Omega and Young Bucks as the new AEW Trios Champions and CM Punk dethroning Jon Moxley to claim the AEW World Championship for the second time, redeeming his embarrassing loss suffered at the hands of Mox just a week ago in mere seconds on an episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite.
However, things that happened post the successful pay-per-view had a huge impact on the entire company tarnishing its well-reputed image thanks to a major fallout between top stars of All Elite. Post AEW media scrum, there were reports of CM Punk engaging in a real-life backstage brawl with Omega and Young Bucks after certain remarks made by the Best in the World during the media conference.
This forced AEW President and CEO Tony Khan to take drastic measures and suspended all four AEW Superstars with immediate effect and strip them of their titles declaring the AEW World and Trios championships to be vacated and announcing the plan to crown new champions.
Khan announced a series of matches in an elimination tournament pitting top AEW Superstars against each other for the world championship. Former AEW World Champions Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley already were slated for a bye to the next round with winners of their respective matches clashing in the finals taking place at the AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam on September 21 to become the new AEW World Champion.

Jon Moxley will be a major attraction at AEW Full Gear 2022
The Purveyor of Violence, Jon Moxley is emerging to be the front runner for winning the tournament and winning the AEW World title for a record-setting third time to walk into AEW’s next pay-per-view, Full Gear on November 19 as the champion as reported by Dave Meltzer.
He further reported that the recently returning ‘Devil’ MJF, who won the Casino Ladder match at AEW All Out, could be next in line to challenge Moxley for the title.
