WWE is reportedly building one of its top Superstars to be one of the major box office attractions much like on the lines of The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar, who is known for his limited and power-packed appearances drawing the WWE Universe to the arenas and tuning into the television programming every time The Alpha Male of All Species is advertised to show up by the company.
That superstar is none other than the Baddest Woman on the planet, Rowdy Ronda Rousey matching the same aura as Lesnar with her dominance in the ring, a decorated UFC and MMA career, and a major crowd puller. She can potentially be dubbed Lesnar’s counterpart as The Alpha Female of the WWE.
Ronda first signed with the company back in 2018 and went on to headline the following year’s Wrestlemania alongside Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair becoming the first ever female trio to main event the Show of Shows. After a long 3-year hiatus, Ronda emerged back in the WWE and has since been heavily featured in the top storyline programs surrounding the WWE Women’s division.

Is Ronda Rousey the next Brock Lesnar of WWE?
Most recently Rousey was featured in an engaging storyline with Liv Morgan over the Smackdown Women’s Championship, getting suspended and fined for attacking a WWE official. After a few weeks off T.V, The Rowdy One made frequent appearances, most recently one day before WWE Clash at the Castle pulverizing WWE official Adam Pearce after a verbal back and forth locking him in the armbar much to the delight of the WWE Universe.
Dave Meltzer spoke about Ronda Rousey’s current booking in WWE on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio regarding her position as a heel and perceived babyface by the fans:
“The idea for Ronda Rousey actually is to get her to be what she was before which is to break out of the pack, mainline woman Superstar. Not just a woman on the roster who is below [Bianca] Belair and all that, which she kind of was becoming“
