Roman Reigns has taken the name of his biggest rival in WWE and that too on record. And it’s none other than the 10-time WWE World champion Brock Lesnar.
The two big names have been crossing paths since 2016 and have headlined three WrestleManias for the World title. They fought each other in a ring shattering war as recent as SummerSlam 2022 in July. At WrestleMania 38, Roman beat Brock to unify the WWE and the Universal titles, becoming the first ever holder of the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. He retained it against Brock again at SummerSlam in a match that even saw the ring turned upside.
While speaking to Logan Paul on his IMPAULSIVE podcast, Roman claimed Lesnar to be his biggest rival:
“Me and Brock we’ve main evented a bunch of huge shows together…Big pay-per-views, WrestleMania main event, so I would definitely say he’s been thus far my biggest rival.”

Roman Reigns talked about Brock Lesnar on the show
He also praised Lesnar, calling him the Alpha Male of Our Species and how he manhandles his opponents by dropping them on their heads. He said Lesnar having top level MMA credentials, has to play it rough because he has to protect his legitimacy as a tough guy.

After their Last Man Standing match at SummerSlam, Lesnar was left buried under the announcers’ tables and steel steps with the whole Bloodline standing tall over him. He then made his way to the broken ring and thanked the WWE Universe present there before leaving. This has led many to speculate if it was his last appearance.
But recent reports have brought to light the fact that the Beast Incarnate’s contract extends till mid 2023. He has also been advertised for Day 1 and Royal Rumble next year. Some rumors even suggest that we may see him as early as Crown Jewel in November at Saudi Arabia. Therefore, we might not have to wait very long to witness Roman’s biggest rival after all.
