The news of Bobby Lashley being fired from WWE RAW has shocked the WWE Universe. On the latest episode of RAW, Lashley faced Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins in the main event. It was a number one contender’s match for the WWE United States Championship.
Due to utter chaos in the closing moments, WWE official Adam Pearce lost his cool and fired Bobby Lashley on the spot. Has Bobby Lashley really been fired from WWE?
No, Lashley is still a WWE Superstar and an employee of the company. However, in a new storyline which started on RAW, Lashley lost his job on the red brand due to an assault on the manager Adam Pearce.
It looks like WWE is probably building up the return of the Hurt Business because Lashley has not been booked well in recent times. He lost a match against Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel and is also out of the United States Championship picture for the foreseeable future.
Lashley’s ex-manager MVP could probably reunite with him and reform The Hurt Business. MVP could either hold a meeting with Adam Pearce to reinstate Lashley as a RAW Superstar or he can discuss with Triple H to join SmackDown. Either way, this seems like an exciting start to a fresh storyline.
It has been a long time since WWE got the fans talking with the end of a RAW episode. Hopefully, this is the start of many such episodes.
