“Where have you been,” Twitter reacts as Eva Marie wishes Vince McMahon retirement 5 months late

Eva Marie has made her name in the world of fashion and acting. However, the former All Red Everything failed to make an impressive wrestling career during her time in WWE. Eva Marie has two stints in the company, with both of them turning out to be a complete disaster. Moreover, she took close to 5 months to react to Vince McMahon’s retirement, which caught the attention of the WWE Universe.

Eva Marie was brought into the WWE in 2013 as a part of the Total Divas show. She was fairly new to the wrestling world. Her less-than-average in-ring acumen and sloppy wrestling skills failed to impress anyone watching.

Even after being assigned to train with a veteran like Brian Kendrick, Eva Marie could not make a mark on the wrestling world. She, however, gained some prominence as a heel in NXT during 2015-2016 and was called-up to the main roster. However, in only 5 months she was released by the WWE.

Marie then started pursuing other ventures such as starting her own fashion line, NEM fashion and taking up acting projects. In 2020, vignettes began appearing on WWE programming promoting Marie’s return to the company billed as Eva-Lution.

She made her comeback on the June 14 episode of Raw. Marie was aligned with a young upstart from NXT UK, Piper Niven who later came to be known as Doudrop. Eva and Doudrop were involved in feuds with Naomi and Alexa Bliss before turning on each other.

This resulted in their split with Doudrop picking up the win and ending their rivalry. Eva’s last appearance was an injury angle at the hands of Shayna Baszler, following which was once again released in September 2021.
