England is in Pakistan for the three-match Test series after 17 years in December this year. The first game will be played from 1st December in Rawalpindi followed by the second game to be scheduled on 9th December in Multan. The final game of the series will take place in Karachi from 17th December.
Both teams have done their preparations right and have left no stone unturned in their build-up to the game. While the hosts had net sessions at home, the visitors had few sessions in Abu Dhabi. They also have named their playing XI for the first Test and when they step on the field, it’ll be a debut for Liam Livingstone.
However, with the first game between England and Pakistan in Rawalpindi just a few hours away, it is reported that England players including skipper Ben Stokes have suffered food poisoning. Earlier it was reported that the English contingent has been affected by Covid-19.
Also, a bomb blast in Pakistan has rigged panic in an English camp. With players after suffering from illness, clouds are hovering over the first Test. It remains to be seen if the game will go as per schedule or not.
