What exactly is wrong with Karrion Kross? Why have all his storylines failed?

Karrion Kross is on a collision course with fate and if he is unable to make things work with the Final Testament then that may very well be the end of the big man’s career in WWE. Time and time again, Hunter has tried his very best to save his career but somehow every single step taken by Triple H has just gone down the drain.

In fact, he was one of the rare few who threatened Roman Reigns with a stop-clock and somehow that storyline lost steam midway. That never had a follow-up episode. However, it is not that WWE doesn’t love storylines like these. Rather, truth be told, WWE loves storylines like these, take the Taker, Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss for example.

Every dark storyline has been an absolute hit with the fans. Currently, in a last bid to save himself, he has joined hands with the Author of Pain where he took on Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits at WrestleMania XL only to be defeated by the latter.

Here is what Karrion Kross should do in order to make those dark gimmicks work

What exactly is wrong with Karrion then? The answer is his inability to sell promos. In order to cut these dark promos, you need to create a more immersive experience. If you take a look at Bray Wyatt’s promos, you would realize that he kind of spent countless hours in creating thee effects, the masks, the costumes and also worked deeply on the storylines.

In fact, such was his effect that the industry allowed him freedom on the creative front. Similarly, the gimmicks where you want to be someone who plays a villain from the black alleys, you will have to create a character far deeper than what Karrion Kross is capable of creating.

Also, he needs someone with good mic skills to back him up. Someone like Heyman which will actually make him a monster that he has always wanted him to be. Maybe his association with the Authors of Pain will make that happen but again, if it doesn’t happen, who knows.
