Fans on Twitter lashed out at Pakistani cricketers Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed for their poor performance in the final of the T20 World Cup 2022 against England. They said that teams shouldn’t pick cricketers who choke in pressure games and they should bring young players and back them.

England cricket team thumped Pakistan by 5 wickets to lift the T20 World Cup 2022 trophy. The Jos Buttler-led side displayed a magnificent performance with both bat as well as the ball to lift the trophy for the second time.

Pakistan on the other hand displayed a poor performance with the bat and it’s fair to say that they succumbed to the pressure. Mohammad Rizwan, who opened the innings, found it really hard to get going and managed only 15 runs in 14 balls. He batted with a strike rate of 107.14.

After that Babar Azam (32) and Shan Masood (38) played good innings but failed to convert the start they got. Many then expected Iftikhar Ahmed to set the stage on fire but he also succumbed to pressure. He registered a 6-ball duck as Pakistan could manage just 138 runs.

Even though they displayed a staggering performance with the ball, but the target for two was low for the bowlers to defend as Ben Stokes smashed a fifty to seal the match for his side. Pakistan managed to take 5 wickets with Haris Rauf being the pick of the bowlers with 2/23 to his name.
