English fast bowler, Jofra Archer has been ruled out of the Ashes 2023. The pacer recurrence of a stress fracture to his right elbow. However, not only the Ashes, he has been ruled out of the whole English summer.

Jofra Archer was part of Mumbai Indians in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 but was ruled off the tournament. He played just 5 games in the league and then was called back to England to recover ahead of the Ashes.

Jofra Archer missed a lot of cricketing action due to the elbow. He recently made a comeback to cricket during the ODI series against England. But now again has been ruled out of action. He last played a Test match in March 2021.

Ashes 2023 will begin from 16th June in Edgbaston, which will be followed by the second game on 28th June at Lord’s.

The third game of the Ashes 2023 will be played on July 6th in Leeds whereas the last two games are slated to take place on July 19th and July 27th on Manchester and the Oval respectively.
