Rhea Ripley opened Monday Night RAW and was confronted by her former Latino Heat, Dominik Mysterio, who accepted Ripley’s title match challenge on behalf of his girlfriend, Liv Morgan. At that moment, Morgan emerged and blindsided her with an attack. Moreover, a spot saw Mami’s leg being entangled in the ropes, leading to her suffering a minor knee injury and using crutches for the entire night.
Later on, as Damian Priest was in need of a tag team partner to face Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, Mami recruited Jey Uso, who had taken an interest in her, to be Priest’s partner for the main event. Their commaradery proved to be effective as the duo managed to defeat Finn and JD in the tag team contest.

On the other hand, Jey Uso himself is in to compete in the Fatal 4-Way match to determine the next No.1 contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, next week on RAW. Now that Rhea Ripley is no longer taken and a brewing alliance is very much evident on social media and WWE television, WWE could possibly be heading towards pairing Jey Uso and Rhea Ripley together for upcoming storylines.
