WWE is seemingly moving towards building the onscreen romance between Jey Uso and Rhea Ripley following their constant social media exchanges and paired in an angle on Monday Night RAW. In the process, they made a former World Champion break character as the show went off the air this week.

This week on RAW, Rhea Ripley got into an altercation with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio at the start of the show. However, Mami’s leg got entangled in the rope leading to her suffering an injury. Despite her injury, Rhea managed to find Damian Priest, a tag team partner for his match against JD McDonagh and Finn Balor. She chose Jey Uso, who in his own words, could not say no to Rhea Ripley.
Later on in the main event, the action was fast paced and spilled all across the ringside area. Moreover, it also saw interference from other members of Judgment Day, including Liv Morgan. But her threat was neutralized by the arrival of Rhea Ripley and this led to Jey and Damian emerging victorious in the tag team bout.
In an unseen video, after RAW went off the air, Jey Uso and Rhea Ripley led a wave of YEET chants in the ring. The Main Event One and Mami then persuaded Damian Priest, who is known for his no-nonsense and straight-faced personality. Watching their enthusiasm, Priest broke character and did YEET himself towards the crowd in attendance in Denver, Colorado.
