Watch: Chahal and Kuldeep’s funny incident that occurred while the intense last-over drama involving Rishabh Pant was happening

Rajasthan Royals defeated Delhi Capitals by 15 runs in IPL 2022 on Friday. Apart from the individual performances, it was the no-ball controversy that took the cake of the limelight. However, while the drama was happening, there was an extremely hilarious incident that was transpiring in another part of the field. In this article, we take a look at Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav’s funny exchange while the last-over drama involving Rishabh Pant was happening.

The last-over drama involving Rishabh Pant becomes the talking point

With 36 runs required in the final over, DC almost had zero chances to win. However, Rovman Powell scored three sixes and brought interest into the game. The third ball of the final over was a full-toss and it was hit for a six. However, despite being very close to waist-high, that delivery was not referred by the on-field umpires.

The Delhi Capitals camp was not happy with this. Initially, Rishabh Pant started calling his players from the field. Later, he sent Pravin Amre to have a word with the umpires. In the end, DC had to accept the decision and RR went on to win the game.

Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have a funny exchange on the field

It was an intense event that was unfolding on the field. Rishabh Pant is usually calm and hence, this entire incident was a little surprising. As much as the situation was serious, two friends in the form of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav were having a funny exchange near the pitch.

Kuldeep Yadav was batting at that point and he was being asked to return from the field. Of course, even Kuldeep was not clear about what he had to do. Meanwhile, Chahal tried to block Kuldeep’s way and even patted his head. This was funny considering the circumstances around. Here is a look at the video shared by a Twitter user:
