A couple of weeks ago, Rohit Sharma replaced Virat Kohli as the ODI skipper of the team. Hence, he is now the captain across the white-ball formats. A few have termed this as the “New Era” since it is also a new coach at the helm. On the other hand, there have been many controversies regarding awarding Rohit the captaincy in ODIs.
