Twitter Is Going Crazy As PSG Has Signalled That Mbappe May Move Away From France

Mbappe's new destination

It seems that the chaos of the football transfer window is far from over as a new possibility regarding Mbappe has just opened up and it may involve one of the best players headed to Spain.

There was already a lot of ruckuses that did the rounds about Mbappe wanting a PSG exit. Reports stated that Real Madrid even made an offer of 160 million Euros to bag the French sensation, but it was snubbed by PSG.

Mbappe’s childhood dream is close to reality?!!

In an interview with RMC Sport, PSG sporting director, Leonardo, has clarified that the club is willing to allow Mbappe to take an exit but it must bring a lucrative deal for the French juggernauts.

The exact words cited by Leonardo were, Kylian Mbappé wants to join Real Madrid and we will not hold him back. We said no to Madrid’s first offer, but if our conditions are met, we’ll see. We will not hold anyone against his will. If Mbappé wants to join Real Madrid, we’ll allow it, but on our conditions. Kylian always promised us that he will not leave for free.”

He concluded by saying, “We made two big offers to Mbappé. We want to prove to him that’s he the center of the project but not above the project. We created a dream this summer, and we will not let anyone destroy it. It seems like a strategy from Madrid to try to get a ‘no’ from us, to show that they have tried everything and to wait for a year to get him for free. What they’re doing is not right, and is illegal and unacceptable. Real Madrid’s offer is very far from what we want. Yes, it’s around 160M. It is less than what we paid for him in 2017.”

PSG already made the fullest use of the transfer window as they managed to bag the services of Donarruma, Messi, Ramos, Achraf Hakimi and Georgio Wijnaldum to make their squad a star-studded one. With Neymar already present in the attacking force, it seems fitting that they would let go of their star sensation, especially as Mbappe has made it clear that he is not willing to play in the shadows of Messi and Neymar.

Twitter seemed excited about this crazy move as it can make Real Madrid a serious title-contender after a lackluster 2020-21 season that ended without a trophy.
