95% rain expected for the game between England and Pakistan final
After 44 games of enthralling excitement and entertainment, we have finally got our finalists for the T20 World Cup 2022. Pakistan and England will lock horns in the summit clash on Sunday (13th November) at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Both teams played a staggering brand of cricket in the semi-final and dominated their respective opposition to find themselves in the final. While Pakistan thumped New Zealand by 7 wickets, England thrashed India by 10 wickets to earn a place in the summit clash.
Both Pakistan and England will be entering on high confidence into the final and it is expected that it’ll be an exciting contest as both the teams are in top form. It remains to be seen who will handle the pressure well and bag their second title.
However, in what is disappointing news, rain is expected to play a spoilsport in the final. The meteorology department has predicted a 95% chance of rain on Sunday. Although there is a reserve day if games get washed out due to rain both teams will share the trophy.
