WWE Legend John Cena recently shared his honest opinion on the work done by the Megastar, LA Knight in the recent past. Knight is one of the most over Superstars with the audience in the year 2023. He has quickly become one of the most popular stars, and he is currently involved in a personal feud with The Miz.
This rivalry began on the RAW episodes after SummerSlam, where The Miz mocked Knight. After a lot of back and forth on the mic, the two Superstars are set to clash at WWE Payback tonight. Ahead of the Payback show, WWE announced that 16-time world champion John Cena will be the host of the premium live event.
John Cena spoke with Cathy Kelley backstage on SmackDown and commented the following on LA Knight:
“[I have] a tremendous amount of respect for LA Knight because his trajectory is that of persistence. You want to talk about somebody never giving up? I have it on a shirt and I try to live it every day.”

“He walks that talk and he does it with his own style and he’s not afraid to be who he is in here [in his heart]. And speaking from someone who started as the Doctor of Thuganomics, I have a lot of respect for that,” he added.
Will WWE book John Cena vs LA Knight in 2023?
John Cena is confirmed to make at least seven more appearances for WWE in the coming weeks. He will be a regular member on the SmackDown show. LA Knight is the popular star on SmackDown, which is why some fans want to see a dream feud between him and John Cena.

However, WWE might refrain from doing so because both Cena and Knight are over with the fans. Instead, Cena can use his time to put a heel over with the fans.
