WWE has got a lot more inclusive in the current days and the way they have increased the women’s matches is a solid tribute to the women’s section. From the glory days reigned by Chyna to current days of Rhea Ripley’s domination, it will be intriguing to see how the industry manages to promote women’s wrestling. With all said and done, the history of Women’s champion did see some incredible names and to be honest they have been absolutely brilliant.
This story would witness the longest reigning women’s champions in the antiquity of WWE. Though a few names that you absolutely would have loved may not have made the cut and yet we give a loud shout out to all those superstars who has made WWE a wonderful place for women wrestlers to be in.
#1 The Fabulous Moolah – 3651 days
Yeah, you read that right. The Fabulous Moolah was in an era of wrestlers that usually didn’t see women doing the talking and hence the numbers weren’t exactly great. But then she did hold onto the title for almost a decade and no champion can come close to this number. Just a heads up though, she was also a phenomenal wrestler.
#2 Rockin’ Robin – 502 days
Another gun fighter, Rockin’ Robin would absolutely rock her opponents with her physical brand of wrestling and there was an era where she would leave others terrorized. She was sensational and most importantly was also well versed with submissions, usually a rare spectacle in women’s wrestling back in those days.
#3 Trish Stratus – 448 days
Well, believe this or not but Trish Stratus did run the Women’s division for a long time and there were no parallels for her. She would simply be swashbuckling and would leave opponents reeling in agony with her rollicking style and her imperious domination. She would see her opponent in their eyes and leave them with a fear like none other.
#4 Sensational Sherri – 441 days
Sensational Sherri had her fans divided amongst her hard-hitting wrestling style and everything that she did was spellbinding at times and downright questionable on occasions. Sherri would love to take her oppositions in her strong hole and torment them with her physical style of wrestling occasionally combined with those high-flyers.
#5 Bianca Belair – 420 days
The EST of the company, one of the most sensational talents to have graced WWE was also awarded the title reign for her incredible workload and her ability to fight anyone in the roster without breaking a sweat. She has been absolutely amazing and the kind of fights that she has knitted over the years have been sensational.
