Tom Moody Names His Indian XI for the ICC WTC Final; Leaves out R Ashwin And Ishan Kishan
As the World Test Championship Final is around the corner, former Australian cricketer Tom Moody has picked his Indian XI for the game. What caught the attention of many was he left out seasoned spinner R Ashwin and also gave preference to KS Bharat over Ishan Kishan.
Opening the batting for India according to Tom Moody will be Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. There is no brainer who he picked at No.3 and No.4. He backed Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli to bat at these positions. These four are expected to play a huge role for India in the final.
Ajinkya Rahane, who will be making his comeback, is slotted at No.5 by Tom Moody. With lots of speculations around the keeper in the team, he picked KS Bharat instead of Ishan Kishan citing that it’ll be tough for the left-hander to bat in the middle as he’s a natural opener.
Ravindra Jadeja will be an all-rounder in the team alongside Shardul Thakur in the team. The pace battery that he choose was formidable. He backed Mohammed Siraj, Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav as three front-line fast bowlers.
