“Those Little Things Make Someone Feel Cared About”- Paige Shares Heart-Touching Anecdote About AJ Lee

WWE Superstar Paige left the company after they did not renew her contract. She is Saraya once again for all the fans, and unfortunately, no one knows where she is headed next. Given her talent, Saraya could try her luck in Hollywood, or if she wants to continue wrestling, she can sign a contract with any of the other pro wrestling promotions.

Some fans have opined that Saraya should join All Elite Wrestling, but the wrestling style of that company may not suit her because of her injury issues. Paige could reunite with her close friend AJ Lee, who announced her return to wrestling with Women of Wrestling last year.

In a recent goodbye letter to the WWE Universe, Paige recalled how AJ Lee helped her during her early days. Sharing an anecdote during their trip to England, she wrote in The Players Tribune:

“Gratitude to people like A.J. — what an absolute badass she is. But she’s also so sweet and so thoughtful. I remember the first time we went on the road back to England, she got me this pair of Doc Martens with a Union Jack on the toe. Those little things that make someone feel cared about … that’s A.J. for you.”

Paige reveals the nickname she gave to AJ Lee

During the same description, Saraya mentioned that she calls AJ Lee her ‘fairy grandmother’ because of her contributions to her life. In the same letter further, Saraya thanked the Bella Twins – Nikki and Brie – for taking her under their wing.

Saraya will forever have a special place in the hearts of WWE fans. She ruled the Divas division during her prime, but her neck injuries ended her career. Looking at the way Edge and Bryan Danielson returned to the ring from career-ending injuries, Saraya will be keen to make her comeback as well.
