Fans on Twitter reacted after Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) women are yet to win a game in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023. They lashed out at the team for the poor management of players and said that this is what happens when you make a tennis player the mentor of a cricket team.

RCB Women bags three consecutive losses in the WPL 2023

The inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League hasn’t been a great one for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) women. Despite having a star-studded side, they have failed to make a mark in the series and are yet to register a win in the tournament.

They kick-started the tournament with a disappointing 60-run loss against Delhi Capitals Women. Their bowling was the main reason behind their thumping loss as they conceded 223 runs and then could manage just 163 runs.

It was expected that they would make a comeback in the second game. But it was even worse for them as they suffered a 9-wicket thrashing at the hands of Mumbai Indians Women. They managed just 155 runs on the board and then took just 1 wicket.

Things got even worse for them when they suffered their third consecutive loss of the tournament. RCB bagged an 11-run loss against Gujarat Giants. Coupled with poor bowling and batting, it was the management that cost them the game as they didn’t send the desired batters according to the game situation.

They are reeling last on the points table and are the only team with no wins so far. Their next game is slated to take place against UP Warriorz on 10th March. They would be looking to rejuvenate themselves and look for their first win.
