“There’s money to be made in this quote-unquote ‘blood feud”, Bully Ray pinpoints fight that change the industry’s landscape

Bully Ray picks fight of the century: WWE has been doing some neat work in terms of putting CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins up close for what can very well be a main event clash at the next WrestleMania. With the Bloodline 2.0 story still awaiting the return of Roman Reigns to change the course of action, at the moment, Punk, McIntyre and Rollins have been a part of some serious heat and given the fact that none are heel or face in this rivalry have been reaping even bigger rewards.

Talking to Busted Open Radio, former WWE wrestler, Bully Ray said that out of the three, a part of the rivalry that is currently being played along the fringes should eventually take the centerstage. He was hinting at CM Punk and Seth Rollins going claws and fangs bared at each other, and for the industry it is going to be big money move.

Ray said, “They still have to get back to that. This is very personal with Punk and Seth; the things that they had to say about one another while they were in separate companies.”

He further added, “There’s money to be made in this quote-unquote ‘blood feud.'” Bully then opined that WWE will likely crown GUNTHER as the World Heavyweight Champion soon, and that Rollins and Punk should enter into a feud to determine the “Ring General’s” next challenger. “And then, coming out of that, I believe you’ll want to see Punk challenge GUNTHER.

However, when asked that whom does he want to see babyface or heel in this rivalry, he said that this is one decision that he would want the fans to make. With two life-size superstars taking on each other, even an iota of face-feeding can tarnish the battle which can be absolutely massive and be one of the highlights of the Hunter era like the Bloodline story.
