Ahead of tonight’s IPL 2022 match between the Rajasthan Royals and the Chennai Super Kings, some fans felt that this could be the last time they see MS Dhoni playing in the Indian Premier League, but the man himself has put a full stop to all the speculation by saying that he will play for the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023 as well.
Dhoni gave a simple reason behind that decision as he said that it would be unfair not to play matches at CSK’s home base – Chennai for the fans residing in the city. Also, he said that he would like to say thank you to fans at different venues if the BCCI switches the format back to the home-away one.
